eK Clothing Shopping Experience

Here's a recent EK Clothing shopping review from March 30, 2008.

Millie, good friend and salsera recently bought two dresses from EK Clothing, an online salsa clothing store that sells many Latin dresses, tops and skirts at affordable prices.

She tells you all about her shopping experience..

Ladies are always on the look out for cute outfits to wear out to nights of pure Latin dancing. One place you can find your perfect outfit is EK Clothing. You have to check it out ! (Sorry, gents, this clothing store is only for the ladies).

There are five different tabs on the homepage to navigate to for all type of salsa clothes -- dresses, tops, skirts, pant, and a new section for, what's this ? Shoes !

Prices are very affordable

You will find a great selection of dresses that range from short, cute, and flirty outfits to long length elegant but yet sexy fashions. The colors available for some of their dresses were lacking, but their variety and affordability of the outfits made up for it.

The selection of tops, skirts and pants were not as diverse as some of the dresses, but they are very appropriate if you are looking for something to wear for a night of fun with your girlfriends at a salsa club. Or even a night of fun salsa dancing with your date.

Ordering is simple

If this is your first time ordering from EK Clothing. It just takes about 5 minutes of your time to register and fill out your information and your on your way!

After your purchase, you are e-mailed a confirmation number in case something happens with your order.  You will get additional e-mail to let you know when the items are packaged and shipped.

It comes in really handy if you are planning to wear one of your outfits, you will be able to keep track of how long it will take to arrive at your house.

Quick Delivery !

Delivery was very quick ! It took only 3 days from the order date to receive the order ! Each dress arrived in perfect condition - neither wrinkled or damaged during the shipping process.

There were two dresses.  The first one fit beautifully.  It is long, sexy and has a style that has a touch of elegance.  Unfortunately, the other dress did not fit as expected.

Returns

Since the dress did not fit, it was sent back to be exchanged for another dress, but in a different style.   Since the fulfillment process was quick, the return/exchange process was expected to be the same. Unfortunately, it took longer than anticipated - two weeks from the day that the original dress was sent back.  However, the new dress that came in fit great! The material was of good quality and the color was beautiful!

Last thoughts

It can be very challenging to find the perfect dress that would suit all the girls in a performance group. Ladies should check out EK Clothing especially if you are in a performance group.

This website can satisfy the need for different styles that you may be looking for.

They have a variety of outfits that are suited for salsa performance, but also for the other types of Latin dances like Tango, Flemenco, Samba, or Cha Cha Cha.

You should check out EK Clothing whenever there is a need for a cute salsa dress to wear while dancing that you can feel comfortable in!

Selection Of Clothing  - 4 stars because they have a good selection of salsa dresses. It would have been 5 stars if there was a broader selection of skirts and pants.

Price - A no brainer ! 5 stars ! Their clothing is very affordable, and is even cheaper than going to a store at the mall !

Ease of Ordering - 5 stars ! It was a simple process and only took about 5 minutes to register.

Shipping - Super fast delivery. Dresses were sent priority mail. Ordered on Tuesday and received on Friday.

Fulfillment - 4 stars.  The quailty and material of the dresses are good and the fit is awesome!

Returns - Disappointed with the length of time it took to receive the new dress. *

I spoke with e.K Clothing and here was their response:

"2 weeks for an exchange is about average (for us and for many other online shopping sites) and is reasonable when it's considered that those 2 weeks include the mail transit time from the customer to us and then from us back to the customer. Also, we process our returns/exchanges 1-2 times a week in batches. It would be very time consuming to process returns one by one as they came back to the store. As far as time in transit - it takes packages a couple of days to reach their destination which is part of the return process. We do offer expedited exchanges for customers who call us in advance and make that request."

As of April 2, they have updated their FAQ section with this information.
